Senior Electrical Controls Engineer / Manager

Senior Electrical Controls Engineer / Manager for the GenV Engine Program, St. Catharines including 5 month providing Technical Assistance for the Tonawanda Engine Plant.  Responsible for bringing in, installing and commissioning V8 Engine and Head Assembly equipment. Travel to the machine builder in Japan (2012) and Korea (2016) for final inspecting, runoff and safety validation before shipping.

 

Senior Electrical Controls Engineer / Manager

On assignment in Thailand as the Controls Engineering Manager for the New Duramax Diesel Engine Plant. I implemented the Duramax program with emphasis on Electrical and Electronic Control Systems but also assumed extra roles in IT and Plant Engineering due to GM’s Bankruptcy. This was accomplished while meeting project and controls specifications, timing and cost targets. Steered the plant toward self-sufficiency through the proper leadership, training of our Thai Engineering Staff and integration with other departments.  Travel to Germany and Korea (total of 3 months each).
